Change – Version Management
Once under the control of Qtier-Rapor all spreadsheet processes are subject to change control and version management. Integration with detailed audit trail enables full traceability.
Change control features enable authorised users to suspend spreadsheet processes making them immediately unavailable to end users. Modifications can then be made in an off-line environment prior to audit check and release for general use.
Three levels of change control authority exist. Suspend, audit checked and release capabilities can be allocated individually to authorised spreadsheet designers.
Version numbering can be applied to Qtier-Rapor controlled spreadsheet processes. If the version number of the spreadsheet process does not match the corresponding Qtier-Rapor process, then the spreadsheet will not run.
