Ad Hoc Data Query from Excel

The Qtier-Rapor end-user interface in Excel contains a simple to use query and reporting tool which gives instant access to ad hoc data within the constraints of system security. This feature is known as Instant Data.

It is possible for authorised users to create query definitions for immediate use, then save them for later use or amendment and \ or publish them for use by others within the organisation.

Providing the ability to extract data directly onto the Excel worksheet, allowing field selection and sequencing, data grouping and aggregation, filtering and sorting functionality. It is not possible for Instant Data queries to corrupt any controlled Qtier-Rapor spreadsheet process.

Security of data being of utmost importance, it is only possible for authorised Instant Data users to query data via the Catalogues that they are authorised to.

All query definitions saved are totally integrated and available for use via the web enabled module of this feature and visa-versa.
