Qtier- Rapor Technology Requirements

The Qtier- Rapor software framework is based on the latest Microsoft .NET technology.

 End User Environment:

Microsoft Windows 98 / NT / 2000 / XP.
.NET Framework 1.1 or above
Microsoft Excel 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003.
Memory requirements; Minimum 64Mb, Recommended 256Mb.
Processor requirements; Minimum 450Mhz, Recommended 2Ghz.
Disk space requirements 30Mb.

 Designer Environment: Microsoft Windows NT / 2000 / XP.
.NET Framework 1.1 or above.
Microsoft Excel 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003.
Memory requirements; Minimum 64Mb, Recommended 256Mb.
Processor requirements; Minimum 450Mhz, Recommended 2Ghz.
Disk space requirements 30Mb.

 Qtier- Rapor Database:

Qtier- Rapor can run across the following database types:

  •   SQL Server
  •   Oracle
  •   SQL Express Edition 
  •   MS Access
  •  Database Connectivity: The databases accessed by Qtier- Rapor can be any database for which an OLE DB or ODBC driver is available.

     Web-Serving: Web server running ISS 4 or above.
    .NET Framework 1.1 or above.
    The web process server should have at least one 2.8Ghz processor, configured with sufficient memory to support the expected number of Excel instances to be executed concurrently.

     Performance Implications: Performance obtained depends on the design of any underlying applications, the data being accessed and network band-width availability, etc. Similarly, the impact on database server(s) depends on the complexity of file joins and the volume of data being accessed.
